DESCRIPTION:
Commercial grade, fiber-reinforced, polymer modified 1/2" base coat and/or scratch/brown mix
Factory-prepared mixture of portland cement and proprietary ingredients
Washed plaster sand meeting ASTM C 897 is added at the job site
Can be used as a substrate for a variety of finishes
USES:
As a base coat, apply En-rock Type F base to:
Metal lath
- 2.5 lb/sq. yd. flat (no self-furred) galvanized expanded metal for 1/2" assemblies applied over building paper over continuous exterior sheathing, or over expanded polystyrene (EPS) applied over building paper over continuous sheathing
- 3.4 lb/sq. yd. self-furred galvanized expanded metal for 3/8" scratch and 3/8" brown assemblies applied over building paper over continuous exterior sheathing, or over expanded polystyrene (EPS) applied over building paper over continuous sheathing
